Brian Aulby, Specialist Fourth Class E-4 Home:     North Vernon, IN Branch:   US Army National Guard Status:    Active Brian is serving in Afghanistan - 219th ASG, 10th Mt Division. Brian is the son of Larry and Inamae Aulby of North Vernon, IN and brother of Lisa Bentz.

Anthony "Tony" Camp, 1st Lieutenant Home:     Buffalo, NY Branch:   US Air Force (Davis-Monthan AFB, Tucson, AZ) Status:    Active Tony is preparing for his final phase of training on C-130 Compass Call aircraft as Electronic Warfare Officer. Tony is the son of Dave and Sue Camp who live in North Vernon.

Alejandro "Alex" Garcia, Sergeant Home:     Bloomfield, IN Branch:   Indiana Army National Guard Status:    Active Alex was deployed to Camp Phoenix in Afghanistan in May 2004 and is currently at Camp Patrick Tillman to help train the Afghan troops. Alex is related to the Minnick family who live in North Vernon and Scipio. He is the husband of Erin Minnick Garcia and father of Celestina and Roman.

Jerry Harriman Home:     Scipio, IN Branch:   Marine Corp Status:    Active Jerry was awarded the Navy Achievement Medal (NAM) for actions in Fallujia, Iraq last year. He is currently deployed with the 1st Marine Expeditionary Force in Operation Iraqi Freedom III.

Shawn Johnston, Chief Warrant Officer 2 Home:     Butlerville, IN Branch:   Army Status:    Active Shawn is a Chinook Pilot in the 101st Airborne Division (Air Assault), Fort Campbell, KY. He is related to the Johnston, Lucas, Rowe, Ward, and Yux families who live in Butlerville and North Vernon.

Edward B. Minnick, Battery Commander Home:     North Vernon, IN Branch:   US Army Status:    Honorable Discharge Edward served overseas as "A" Battery Commander of the 1st Field Artillery Battalion in the Phillipines and Korea from September, 1944 through January, 1947. Edward is related to the Minnick family who live in North Vernon and Scipio.

Ryan G. Varney, Specialist Home:     Eaton, OH Branch:   Indiana National Guard (Richmond, IN) Status:    Reserve Ryan, a Specialist in the Infantry Unit, served overseas in Bosnia-Herzegovina from March, 2004 through November, 2004. Ryan is related to the Minnick family who live in North Vernon and Scipio.
